Chairman Pakistan Union Norway (PUN) Chaudhary Qamar Iqbal met Ms Marianne Borgen, the Mayor of Oslo, the capital city of Norway.
During the conversation, Ch Qamar Iqbal informed mayor of Oslo about activities of Pakistan Union Norway and invited her to participate in Union’s annual program to be held in connection with Pakistan’s Independence on 25th August 2018 at Lorenskog town closest to the capital city.
It is important to mention that Pakistan Union Norway’s annual program would be attended by a number of people from various walks of life and several experts of different fields, political figures and social and cultural personalities.
Meeting with Oslo’s mayor took place at sideline of opening ceremony of multicultural festival at city Municipality hall in the capital. Chief Organizer of Bollywood festival Norway Mr Nasrullah Qureshi who was present on the occasion, also invited Oslo’s mayor to participate in his festiwal to be launched on 5th September in Norway.
The three-day annual Oslo’s multicultural festival would be attended by a number of artists from different countries of the world. Pakistani singers Faiz Ali Faiz and Rafaqat Ali Khan would also perform during the festival.
